Role OverviewAs a Security Officer Patrol Screening in Naples, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and or the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and other security-related duties at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and or appropriate personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas, document daily activity and or incident details, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
- A state, county, and or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
