Security Officer – Naples Grande Beach Resort

We are looking for a highly engaging, safety- and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Security Officer at Naples Grande Beach Resort, a prestigious property located in Naples, Florida.

Naples Grande Beach Resort features 474 elegantly appointed guest rooms and more than 85,000 square feet of meeting space across 35 versatile rooms. The resort offers guests a dynamic experience with stunning Gulf of Mexico views and lush tropical landscapes.

• Carry out the property’s safety policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and teamwork-oriented environment.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates.
• Reduce crime opportunities through preventive patrol and high visibility security throughout the premises on a timely schedule.
• Promote and preserve peace on the premises to assure a comfortable and non-threatening environment for guests and employees.
• Assist or seek assistance for individuals in danger of physical harm or in need of medical attention.
• Respond to emergencies as prescribed in the Emergency Service Procedures.
• Assure the security of guest and employee information in written reports and business operations.
• Complete all daily activity and incident reports.
• Help assure compliance with Liquor Laws.
• Assist in developing and presenting security-related programs.
• Review and edit written records produced by Security Officers.
• Aid in other duties as determined necessary by the immediate superior.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality or purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• At least two years of security or police (military or civilian) experience, preferably with hotel environment exposure.
• Two years of college in safety, security, or a hospitality-related discipline.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, instructor rating preferred.
• High-quality written and oral communication skills.
