Candidates must possess prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience.

Candidates that already possess a Class G license are strongly encouraged to apply!

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, vehicles, and/or deliveries as directed, helping to support controlled entry and compliance with location protocols.
• Work in varied environments and conditions while maintaining awareness of surroundings, communicating with site contacts and public personnel when appropriate.

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree, at least 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
