Security and Emergency Services Officer

Security and Emergency Services Officer - Erickson Senior Living Join our Safety, Security & Law Enforcement team supporting a vibrant senior living healthcare community. You will provide courteous security services, conduct interior/exterior patrols, respond to medical and safety emergencies, and coordinate with clinical teams and local public safety agencies. Responsibilities include access control, incident reporting, alarm and CCTV monitoring, and supporting evacuation and emergency preparedness.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior patrols to protect residents, visitors, staff, and property
• Respond promptly to medical, fire, and security emergencies and assist clinical teams as needed
• Monitor access control, alarms, and CCTV systems, investigating and resolving alerts
• Document incidents accurately and maintain detailed security and safety reports
• Support emergency preparedness, drills, and evacuations in coordination with leadership
• Provide courteous customer service, escorts, and welfare checks for residents and visitors
• Enforce community policies, parking, and safety regulations with tact and professionalism
• Collaborate with local law enforcement, fire, and EMS when required
• Conduct safety inspections and identify hazards, recommending corrective actions
• Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and communicate safety information to residents
