Heavy Equipment Wash Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Heavy Equipment Wash Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance of heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of operating pressure washers and cleaning tools effectively in an outdoor and sometimes demanding environment.

• Perform thorough washing and cleaning of heavy construction equipment using pressure washers, hoses, brushes, and cleaning solutions.
• Remove dirt, grease, oil, and other contaminants from surfaces to maintain the appearance and performance of equipment.
• Inspect equipment before and after cleaning to identify any visible damage or areas needing additional attention.
• Operate and maintain washing equipment and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Assist in the detailing of equipment for resale, rental, or return to service.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• May assist with other yard duties as needed.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience washing or detailing vehicles or equipment is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license may be required, depending on equipment mobility needs.

Outdoor, physically demanding setting.

Exposure to water, cleaning agents, noise, and heavy machinery.

May require occasional evening or weekend work, depending on workload.
