Residential Elevator Installer

Gulfside Elevator, a Division of Southeast Elevator, the region's leader in the manufacture, installation, and service of residential elevators for private residences. The company is on a fast growth trajectory and looking for new team members to join this exciting company. We are currently searching for an energetic, self-motivated, Residential Elevator Installer. The job will require a candidate with exceptional technical skills, professional interpersonal communication, and a can-do attitude.

Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills are a must, as the ideal candidate will need to utilize their troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities in order to install various types of elevators and lifts.

* Qualifications:

* Ability to work independently and with a team

* Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills

* Excellent mechanical and electronic skills

* Strong appetite for learning and professional development

* Familiarity with common hand and power tools

* Ability to lift up to 150 lbs.

* Familiarity with electronic, electro-mechanical, and fluid-powered (hydraulic) systems
* (Required) Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
* (Preferred)

Experience with circuit boards, PLCs, and DC control circuits

General

Job Duties & Requirements:

* Install residential & commercial LU/LA elevators and wheelchair lifts

* Work as a team of two installers on job sites

* Learn & teach new team members

* Multi-task with patience and diligence

* Demonstrate and maintain a clean driving record

* Safety awareness & compliance

* Develop safety code and regulatory knowledge

* Operate general computer equipment/devices

* Interface with general contractors and customers directly

* All other duties as assigned

Experience:

* Mechanical Knowledge, 1 year (Required)

* Elevator Installation/Service, 1 year (Required)

License:

* Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record (Required)

Job Type:

* Full-time

Pay:

From $18.00-$26.00 per hour
