Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance duties and repairs in an upscale apartment community ensuring timely turnaround time for leasing units. The Maintenance Technician will work with the Business Manager coordinating and managing all necessary project resources from start to finish on time and within budget in a highly collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform essential maintenance duties including painting, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.
  • Perform daily grounds keeping, pressure cleaning and cleaning and organizing apartment units when needed.
  • Efficient completion of resident service tickets.
  • Maintain good communication skills, written skills, computer skills, and people skills that represent the integrity and philosophy of the Company.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year experience in maintenance.
  • HVAC certification is required.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be available to perform on-call emergency services when needed.
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with completing priorities and deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems, electricity, and plumbing while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities.
  • Ability to remain focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with personal computers.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and management team.
  • Must be legally eligible for employment in the U.S.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
