Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) exam required. Construction or trade specific experience preferred. Class E driver license and Forklift Operator Certificate required or ability to obtain the license and certificate within two (2) months of employment. Employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 100 pounds.

Collier County Public Schools Maintenance Department (HVAC Utility) seeks a qualified Utility Worker that has and maintains practical working knowledge to proficiently assist with heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration repairs, replacements, and installations. The candidate exercises initiative and judgment within the scope of authority and assumes responsibility without direct supervision.
