Electrician

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in NAPLES, FL. The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings on behalf of a leading electrical contractor in the Naples, FL area. This is a contract position requiring hands-on experience with conduit bending and installation, wire pulling, panel and transformer work, and a thorough understanding of NEC standards and OSHA safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, dependable, and capable of reading blueprints and wiring diagrams to execute high-quality electrical installations from the ground up.

Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE

• Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate wiring needs in commercial and industrial environments.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute electrical installations.
• Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including lighting fixtures, electrical panels, transformers, switches, and motors.
• Identify and work with color-coded wiring systems to ensure accurate and code-compliant connections.
• Perform physical site tasks including manually digging and back-filling holes and trenches as required.
• Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment throughout all phases of work.
• Collaborate with on-site crews and supervisors to meet project timelines and quality standards.

• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical installations, supported by an apprenticeship or equivalent background.
• Strong working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
• Proficiency in conduit bending, conduit installation, and wire pulling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with electrical panel installation, transformer installation, lighting fixture installation, circuit breaker installation, and motor installation.
• Possession of all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand tools required for the role.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site.

• Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Must be able to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles.
• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be capable of working in inclement weather conditions, including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be able to work around wood dust and fumes and may be exposed to heights and loud noises.
• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.
• Must be aware of and comply with OSHA safety standards.
• Must be physically capable of manually digging and back-filling holes and trenches.
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
