This position is responsible for overseeing the general maintenance and repair of the common elements of the Master Association, including irrigation. Also supervises the maintenance and irrigation technicians and provides irrigation maintenance services for contracted sub-associations. This employee will also keep secure all Association property in his/her care.
Experience, Education, and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required with prior knowledge or experience in general irrigation, maintenance and repairs with some mechanical and technical knowledge. Knowledge of Toro Lynx Central Control System is essential. Must exhibit a friendly, professional image and have strong writing, listening and follow-up skills. Knowledge of general safety is required.
Position Duties- 1. Monitor daily irrigation reports and deploy irrigation technicians to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- 2. Maintain, monitor, and synchronize the Lynx irrigation system; adjust as needed to optimize water usage and system pressure.
- 3. Transition and optimize irrigation schedules based on zone sequencing, accumulation, and water usage data.
- 4. Monitor pump stations, lake water usage, and gas usage for the Country Club.
- 5. Prepare irrigation improvement quotes for homeowners and communications regarding irrigation activities.
- 6. Oversee irrigation system maintenance, including control equipment, electrical components, piping, and related repairs.
- 7. Assist with repairing or replacement of small transformers and other common area equipment as needed.
- 8. Serve as liaison between landscapers and CAMs for concerns with turf throughout the neighborhoods.
- 9. Oversee maintenance of Association vehicles and equipment and log and track in myTurf Pro.
- 10. Maintain Jobber for scheduling daily irrigation and maintenance activities and coordinate integration with Buildium when available.
- 11. Ensure work areas and common areas remain safe, clean, and free of debris.
- 12. Review and approve team timecards for biweekly payroll.
- 13. Report maintenance, irrigation, and safety issues promptly to the Executive Director.
- 14. Respond to after-hours maintenance and irrigation emergencies as needed.
