We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer level II to join our dynamic Marketing Technology team. This role operates in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. If you are passionate about design, development, strategic thinking, testing, and maintaining software applications while collaborating with product managers and designers, we would love to hear from you.
Main ObjectiveDevelop, support, and maintain high‑end and innovative software applications that support Arthrex’s mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better. Write high‑quality, reliable, and maintainable code and collaborate in a cross‑functional team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Programming experience with a web or mobile language such as JavaScript, Swift, Go, Python, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git.
- Android platform experience: development and support of Android applications in a professional environment; knowledge of offline‑first applications is a plus; experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.
- iOS platform experience: development and support of iOS applications in a professional environment; knowledge of offline‑first applications is a plus; experience with SwiftUI or UIKit.
- Web: front‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular; full‑stack/back‑end framework experience such as Ruby on Rails is preferred.
- Relational database design.
Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
Education / Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Two years of professional experience or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of software development experience.
