We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer level II to join our dynamic Marketing Technology team. This role operates in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Main Objective

Develop, support, and maintain high‑end and innovative software applications that support Arthrex’s mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better. Write high‑quality, reliable, and maintainable code and collaborate in a cross‑functional team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Actively participate in software development and team ceremonies as a member of a cross‑functional software development team.

Develop software features using established patterns and technology.

Contribute to all aspects of the technology stack from client‑side programming to developing and deploying back‑end services.

Monitor applications for abnormalities and look for areas to improve application availability and speed.

Investigate and address bugs.

Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and suggest changes as needed.

Continuously learn new frameworks, programming languages, and tooling.

Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and cross‑functional partners, maintaining open and respectful communication.

Occasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required.

Skills

Programming experience with a web or mobile language such as JavaScript, Swift, Go, Python, Kotlin, or Java.
Experience with distributed version control systems such as Git.
Android platform experience: development and support of Android applications in a professional environment; knowledge of offline‑first applications is a plus; experience with Jetpack Compose and Coroutines.
iOS platform experience: development and support of iOS applications in a professional environment; knowledge of offline‑first applications is a plus; experience with SwiftUI or UIKit.
Web: front‑end frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular; full‑stack/back‑end framework experience such as Ruby on Rails is preferred.
Relational database design.

Discretion and Latitude

Works under very general supervision. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.

Education / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two years of professional experience or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of software development experience.
