Play Academy - Aqua Fitness Instructor
Location:
Esplanade by the Islands
Start Date:
Early February Pay: $40/hour (group classes), 60/40 split for private sessions
About the Role:
Lead dynamic pool-based classes for an active community. Maintain safety and engagement in a fun, energetic environment. This is a 1099 subcontractor role; background check required.
Responsibilities:
Lead aqua classes:
Aqua Cardio, Aqua Intervals, Aqua Tone/Strength, Water Warrior, Aqua Stretch & Mobility, Aqua Cardio Party
Maintain pool safety and class control
Encourage participation and proper form
Weekly Class Schedule (Aqua Focus):
Monday: 10:00 AM - Aqua Cardio
Tuesday: 9:00 AM - Aqua Cardio, 10:00 AM - Aqua Stretch & Mobility
Wednesday: 10:00 AM - Aqua Intervals
Thursday: 9:00 AM - Water Warrior, 10:00 AM - Water Warrior
Friday: 10:00 AM - Aqua Tone
Saturday: 10:00 AM - Aqua Cardio Party
_Classes are available subject to availability._
Qualifications:
Aqua Fitness certification required
CPR/AED & First Aid
Comfortable teaching high-energy aqua formats
