Counter Service Driver Associate

Heritage Landscape Supply Group is hiring a full‑time Counter Sales with Backup Driver. The role is a key customer touchpoint responsible for accurate order entry, inventory management, and coordinating truck deliveries.

• Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in‑person interactions.
• Accurately process and manage customer transactions at the sales counter using the company’s computer system.
• Create detailed sales orders and quotes based on customer measurements to estimate material needs and project costs.
• Coordinate and schedule truck deliveries, ensuring optimal logistics and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory management activities such as cycle counts, order picking, staging, replenishment, and shipping/receiving.
• Perform backup driver duties in a non‑regulated truck and handle physical demands up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Work in varied conditions, including warehouses and outdoor environments, and be willing to work overtime during peak season.

• Prior experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and internet navigation.
• Experience with point‑of‑sale systems and order entry procedures.
• Ability to handle lifting tasks up to 75 lbs and 50 lbs on a repetitive basis.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug test, driving and background screening.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
