Job PurposeMake a difference in your community! You will be providing medical equipment services to the non‑profit, community‑based hospice serving the Naples area. This is an active delivery position and will require preparing, loading, unloading, and operating a delivery vehicle as well as installing medical equipment in the patient setting. After a training period, you will be able to successfully instruct patients and caregivers on how to properly and safely operate medical equipment to allow them to be more comfortable in their setting.
HoursSaturday–Sunday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Weekend Driver Needed). Friday afternoon shift possible.
Compensation$18–$20 per hour (based on experience). No experience needed – we will train you! CDL not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Drug screening and full background check will be completed.
Responsibilities and Duties- Serve patients and families with the highest quality care.
- Properly load and secure items for delivery.
- Deliver items to patient home setting while maintaining a route.
- Instruct patients and caregivers on how to safely operate equipment.
- Maintain safe operation by complying with organizational operational policies, procedures, and standards as well as state and local driving rules and regulations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
