Job Description
Full-time, hourly position located in Naples & Fort Myers. The role supports emergency roadside assistance for AAA members.
Responsibilities- Operate a full-size or mini service truck or tow truck and applicable service equipment to assist AAA members, employees, and other motorists.
- Utilize GPS and maps to locate member breakdown locations.
- Provide fuel, test and replace batteries, jump-start vehicles, provide lockout service, change/inflate flat tires.
- Arrange for or tow vehicle when it cannot start or is unsafe.
- Ensure 100% member satisfaction by providing excellent customer service.
- Offer value to members through On-Go Tow or battery tests/sales.
- Provide support at special events such as parades, travel shows, Car Care or Public Relations events.
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential for the function of this job.
- Hourly starting at $21.50 for Florida; overtime at time and a half.
- Shift premiums: 5% 5pm-11pm, 10% 11pm-5am.
- $1,000 sign-on bonus (new to ACG; split at 90 and 180 days).

- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid state driver's license with minimal infractions.
- If in Illinois, valid Illinois C-Non CDL license.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Experience using tablets or electronic devices for updates, policies, safety records.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Success in drug screening, MVR, criminal background, DOT health screenings.
- Preferred:
- Experience servicing vehicles (fuel, battery test/replacement, jump-stating, lockout, tire change/inflation).
- Prior tow truck driver or roadside service experience.
- Ability to safely operate wheel lift, flatbed, dolly towing equipment, full-size or mini service vehicle and commercial driving experience.
Provides roadside service to AAA members, primarily out of office with frequent exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes. Less than 5% office time.
