Job Posting
Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in Europe in 2017. We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, video, record voice and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America and are ready to take on new challenges.
The goal of the project is to collect images of streets, major landmarks and public areas. The project will be carried out on cars equipped with 360 cameras on the roof, mapping the area around the vehicle and storing these images on computers in the vehicle. This data is later used to improve one of the world's most popular online maps.
Data collectors will be assigned specific routes along public streets and areas, focusing on business districts and historical sites. Due to poor weather conditions, some areas will be visited multiple times to ensure the best possible image quality. The project is expected to last for at least 8 months and cover various city/state zones.
The ideal candidate likes driving, knows the area and traffic trends well, is very responsible and reliable.
The expected schedule for the project is Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours per week. You can work more than 8 hours per day if you wish.
