Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to join our team at Advinia Care Naples. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to and from appointments, shopping excursions, Life Enrichment activities, and other outings. This is a full-time position that requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from appointments, shopping excursions, Life Enrichment activities, and other outings

• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including the interior and exterior

• Ensure all passengers are safely buckled in their seats while transporting

• Complete routine maintenance and upkeep tasks on vehicles as assigned

• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel purchases, and vehicle maintenance

• Report accidents and incidents to proper authorities when necessary

• Understand and adhere to protocol for reporting accidents and incidents to proper authorities

• Maintain a safe and alert manner while working

• Ensure all passengers are safely transported in accordance with safety regulations and protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL)

• Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to take ownership for associate's safety and the safety of the residents

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
