Government Services Manager Consultant- FEMA

Experteer Overview As Manager - FEMA, you will lead FEMA-related disaster recovery programs within our Government Sector Services team. You will ensure compliant, high-quality deliverables across complex FEMA-funded initiatives, while coaching staff and supporting growth opportunities. You’ll engage in business development, scope management, and strategic planning to expand services for state/local recovery programs. This role combines technical FEMA regulatory know-how with leadership to drive efficient closeouts and client outcomes.

Retribuzione / Benefits Supervise the team, coach performance, and conduct annual evaluations

Assess client needs, define engagement scope, and oversee quality control of deliverables

Help clients maintain compliance with FEMA regulations and 2 CFR 200, assess audit readiness

Support expedited closeout of multiple open disasters

Oversee client financial management tasks, including time/cost tracking and reconciliation

Leverage experience to inform program implementation methods

Assist in strategic planning and growth by monitoring disaster recovery trends and opportunities

Engage in business development activities, including conferences, thought leadership, RFP responses, and proposal development

Identify recovery gaps and advise on leveraging resources for greater program impact

Occasionally travel or work extended hours as needed
