Minimum requirements:

Valid Ohio teaching license Preschool certified and special education preschool certified or willing to obtain certification within the first two years. Teaching credentials to meet the requirements of the third grade reading guarantee are preferred. Much patience for and enjoyment of children. Ambitious, high energy person. Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance, and manner. Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning.

Excellent communication skills. Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment. Excellent classroom management techniques.

Desirable qualifications:
Experience as an elementary preschool school teacher. Experience in working with special needs students. Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction. A desire to affect change in the lives of children.
