Job Summary
The primary role is to provide technical support to customers, manufacturing, and support personnel for the CHS product line. This position acts as a liaison between Service, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and customers as required.
Job Responsibilities- Provide technical and maintenance support on the CHS product lines to customers with their metal forming equipment.
- Provide technical and hands‑on support to the manufacturing and assembly of new and remanufactured coil handling equipment.
- Assist in the resolution of customer inquiries, technical issues, and support tickets.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our products/services to provide expert guidance to customers, manufacturing, and support staff.
- Identify opportunities to improve technical support processes and recommend changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles for customers and support staff.
- Assist in escalated customer issues, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in technical training and documentation to the internal and external NP&A team.
- Support technical projects as assigned.
- Occasional travel to customer locations (~20%).
- Occasional travel to NP&A manufacturing locations (~20%).
- Associate’s degree in a technical field, bachelor’s preferred.
- Proven experience in technical support or a related role.
- Strong technical background and understanding of metal stamping presses, feeders, straighteners, reels, thread tables, and both mechanical and electronic programming & controls.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Leadership abilities with a focus on team development and customer service excellence.
- Strong project management skill set: ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
