JAC Products is looking for a dedicated Quality Engineer to join our team in Napoleon, Ohio
. In this role, you'll support our problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by ensure strong quality systems, championing APQP, and maintain process controls within the business unit. You'll also implement corporate and plant-level quality procedures and ensure team members are trained and compliant with these standards.
SKILLS/
COMPETENCIES:
- Advanced technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes such as:
Assembly, extrusion, fabrication, etc. - Strong understanding of statistical process control and how to use data to drive decisions.
- Advanced knowledge of OEM such as Subaru, Toyota or Honda quality standards, systems, and processes.
- Successful Product Launch / Production Start-up experience including all documentation, testing, data collection, and reporting.
- Experience leading the PPAP process to successful conclusion.
- Advanced knowledge and practical application of Problem Solving / Process Improvement analysis, tools, and techniques.
- Strong root cause analysis background such as 8D, 5
Why, Fishbone, or Ishikawa. - Provide guidance and support to Quality Engineers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or the equivalent/relevant experience preferred
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred
- Manufacturing Assembly experience preferred
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
- Three (3) or more years' experience in a relevant engineering discipline within a manufacturing environment
- Five (5) to eight (8) years in a quality focused engineering role preferred
