Job Summary
The Applications Engineer serves as the technical liaison between Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Customers. This role is responsible for developing customer-specific application solutions, developing sales order proposals, and ensuring a smooth transition from pre‑sales activities to project execution. The Applications Engineer applies engineering knowledge to evaluate customer requirements, define system concepts, and provide customers with solutions.
Essential Functions- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience in applications, manufacturing, or sales engineering.
- Experience in a manufacturing or engineered‑to‑order environment.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with the manufacturing industry.
- Customer‑facing technical experience.
- Familiarity with specification review and proposal development.
- Technical aptitude and analytical skills

- Time management and organizational skills
Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Frequent use of hands for computer work and documentation. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds and exposure to manufacturing environments.
Travel RequirementsEstimated travel of up to 10% to support customer meetings and site visits.
