Cosmetology License (Required)

The Stylist is responsible for serving clients in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring client satisfaction through consultation, service application, and exceptional customer service. The role includes providing quality hair services, maintaining client loyalty, and supporting salon operations.

• Provide quality services by consulting with clients and applying appropriate service techniques.
• Recommend and participate in approved local marketing initiatives, including coupon campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and client appreciation events.
• Educate clients about proper home hair care and recommend services and products to help maintain hairstyles between salon visits.
• Employ best practices for customer service to ensure client satisfaction and build loyalty.
• Provide quality consultations, stating final price before the service begins.
• Complete all required administrative tasks (e.g., closing out a ticket on the POS system, scheduling appointments) promptly.
• Communicate effectively and positively with all clients, team members, and corporate support.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards set by Regis.
• Perform all services offered at the salon.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduled shifts, including night and weekend shifts.
• Attend all required technical training sessions.
• Follow Regis policies, salon‑specific operational procedures, and hygiene requirements.

• Work as a team‑player and/or independently.
• Market yourself in the community and salon to increase clientele.
• Possess exceptional communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Deliver consistent and excellent customer service.
• Multi‑task efficiently to complete salon duties.
• Show a willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with hair trends.
• Capable of physical tasks such as bending, sitting, twisting, turning, lifting (10‑15 pounds), and standing for extended periods.

• Stylist‑in‑Training:
  Graduated 90 days or less from cosmetology school.
• Stylist:
  Possession of a valid, current cosmetology or barber’s license.

• Maintain a valid cosmetology or barber’s license (or be within 90 days of graduation).
• All Stylists and Stylists‑in‑Training must complete assigned training as determined by Regis.
• All Supercuts Stylists/Stylists‑in‑Training must participate in the Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and receive a certificate of completion.

• The Stylist role is based at a Regis salon location (Supercuts, Holiday Hair, or Cost Cutters).
