A Clinical Dietitian is a highly skilled professional responsible for all nutrition assessments and consultations for both inpatients and outpatients. The Dietitian provides nutrition therapy as requested by physicians, nursing staff, or patients and works closely with the Nutrition Services Staff to develop effective nutrition therapy plans. Additionally, the Dietitian conducts community nutrition awareness programs as requested.
Responsibilities• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition plans for patients.
• Provide nutrition therapy guidance based on physician orders, nursing input, or patient needs.
• Collaborate with Nutrition Services Staff to ensure patient care plans are comprehensive and effective.
• Facilitate community nutrition awareness educational programs.
- BLS certification
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics
- Current Dietitian license in the State of Ohio
- Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required
- Preferred:
Previous work experience as a dietitian
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current Dietitian License in Ohio
- Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
