Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, perform all routine laboratory analyses pertaining to the Campbell’s Analytical Laboratory. Operate analytical instrumentation and accurately calculate results in accordance with the Quality Manual.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot all analytical equipment including GC/MS, GC/MS/MS, LC/MS/MS, and ICP/MS. Identify and quantify compounds of interest and unknowns with both accuracy and precision. Knowledge of standard multiresidue pesticide methodology, heavy metals testing, allergen testing by Elisa, Acrylamide, Capsaicin, moisture and fat analysis.
Ensure compliance with all plant, corporate, local, state, and federal regulatory standards. Validate methods, maintain multi‑level standard and prepare reference solutions. Ability to proactively identify and address concerns or issues that may affect or improve Food Safety, Product Quality, Key Stakeholder and Customer Expectations.
Project management ability and be able to take on key projects, e.g. LIMS (Lab Vantage), PT program, method validation for ISO Accreditation and plant lab support.
Supervisory responsibilities may include scheduling and reviewing daily work of laboratory technicians, keeping regard to priority samples and scheduled turnaround times.
Keep current with new and developing technology. A customer‑focused decision maker, multitasking with good judgement, competent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrates excellent work ethics and behaviors with strong sense of ownership and passion for end results.

Qualifications- Must have:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and 2+ years of experience in a laboratory work environment. - Must have:
Working knowledge of analytical equipment; in particular, Agilent instruments. - Nice to have:
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, forensic, toxicology or related discipline. - Nice to have: 2+ years of experience in analytical or contract laboratory.
- Nice to have:
Excellent knowledge of residue testing requirements and analytical equipment operations. - Nice to have:
Strong drive and initiative to make improvements in a variety of areas with a minimum of supervision. - Nice to have:
Knowledge of laboratory accreditation for ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
The target base salary range for this full‑time, salaried position is between $67,800-$97,400. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
