The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance on industrial equipment, including but not limited to racking, docks, doors and forklifts.
Key Job Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root‑cause analysis and research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through the Field Connect service platform.
- Perform service, maintenance, repair and installation on racking, commercial doors, loading docks and general warehouse equipment.
- Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and in accordance with the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
- Make judgment and decision‑making judgments—consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
- Inspect equipment – perform audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
- Communicate – provide information to supervisors, co‑workers and subordinates by phone, in writing, e‑mail or in person.
- Timely and accurately complete all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
- Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in the Paylocity timekeeping platform.
- Ensure all work is completed safely. Adhere to customer and Concentric safety requirements. Keep work areas clean and organized daily. Complete safety training modules on time.

- Strong mechanical skills.
- Experience in mechanical, commercial and industrial maintenance.
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred but not required.
- Experience repairing and maintaining warehouse and commercial doors, loading docks, dock‑levelers and related equipment.
- Welding experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work at heights.
- Capable of organizing own work and working independently with limited supervision.
- Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and needs, across remote offices.
- Clear written and verbal communication to internal and external customers and ability to listen effectively to customer needs.
- Develop and maintain strong workplace relationships focused on customer satisfaction.
- Collaboration with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and web‑based reporting modules.
- Adaptability to a fast‑changing environment.

- High School or GED Diploma required.
