With a national network of service professionals, Concentric provides engineering, installation and maintenance/management for power equipment including backup batteries, UPSs, generators, energy storage, micro grids, forklift power and onsite maintenance.

Position:
On‑Site Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, including root‑cause analysis, research of potential warranty, rework and continuously repetitive repairs using historical equipment data available through the Field Connect service platform.
• Perform service, maintenance, repair and installation on racking, commercial doors, loading docks and general warehouse equipment.
• Complete all repairs of equipment in a timely manner and by the manufacturer’s repair guidelines.
• Make judgments and decisions: consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.
• Inspect equipment: perform audits per the PM Planning tools schedule in Field Connect service platform.
• Communicate: provide information to supervisor, co‑workers and subordinates by phone, in writing, e‑mail or in person.
• Timely and accurate completion of all work orders and service records per the Concentric time standard.
• Maintain accurate and timely entry of work hours in Paylocity time‑keeping platform.
• Safety:
  All work must be completed in a safe manner, meet customer and Concentric safety requirements, maintain clean and organized work areas, and complete safety training modules.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Score card reflecting performance in areas such as PM Completion, Tech Efficiency, Customer Satisfaction, Inventory Variance, Work in Progress, Safety, Shop Cleanliness & 5S, management observation regarding attitude, diligence, team contributions, willingness and ability to learn new skills and information, and other key performance indicators as assigned.

• Mechanical, commercial, and industrial maintenance related experience.
• Experience with repair and maintenance of warehouse and commercial doors, loading docks, dock‑levelers, and other related warehouse and industrial equipment.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work at heights.
• Ability to organize his/her own work and work independently, with limited supervision.
• Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and diverse needs, and across remote offices.
• Ability to clearly articulate ideas (written and verbal) to both internal and external customers and to listen effectively to customer needs.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments toward the greater good of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Word and web‑based reporting modules.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑changing environment.
• Capability to identify and complete critical tasks independently with a sense of urgency.
• High School or GED Diploma required.
