Club Manager – Anytime Fitness, Narragansett, RI

Job Summary:

The club manager is a passionate individual who seeks to help members and guests improve their lives through health and fitness. This person is responsible for managing day‑to‑day tasks, welcoming guests and members to the gym, selling memberships and training services, and leading staff to work as a cohesive unit. The role requires self‑motivation, leadership skills, the ability to collaborate, communicate, and influence others positively.

• Membership & training sales – qualify, inform, inspire, and convert leads to members.
• Brand promotion – establish relationships with businesses and influencers, coordinate engagement campaigns, and support national marketing efforts.
• Team building – inspire the team to foster a trusting, positive environment for members and guests.
• Day‑to‑day operations – manage reports, cleaning, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Culture creation – deliver top‑notch customer service and inspire members to share positive experiences.

Experience in the fitness industry is not required, but strong communication and soft skills are essential. A good candidate is:
