Full‑Time Seasonal Parking Attendants (Non‑Driving)
Pay Rate: $16.50 - $17.25 per hour.
Job Type: Full-Time Seasonal.
Location:
Point Judith Fishermans Lot, Narragansett, RI.
Shift &
Schedule:
Varies throughout the season. Holidays and weekends are required. Facilities are staffed from 6 AM – 8 PM for the majority of the season. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, with limited availability for afternoon shifts.
- Direct patrons to parking spots.
- Issue tickets to customers, recording required information on each ticket.
- Process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form.
- Complete daily shift paperwork, recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, and number of validated and exception tickets.
- Provide the company’s standards of service to each customer, including maintaining a required uniform appearance, greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking customers upon exit.
- Perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks as directed by local management according to maintenance checklists.

- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma preferred but not required.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with employees and parking customers.
- Ability to resolve customer issues professionally and amicably.
- Available mornings, evenings, and overnight.
- At least one year of customer service experience.
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, sitting, using hands‑to‑fingers, handling tools or controls, reaching with hands or arms, speaking and hearing, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 25 lbs. The work environment may involve weather exposure, fumes and airborne particles, and noise levels ranging from minimal to moderate.
