Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant – Branch Head – Nashik, based in Mumbai. The Branch Head will oversee branch operations, lead the local team, and ensure high-quality delivery of services across audit, tax, advisory, and compliance mandates. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, reviewing and signing off on key assignments, monitoring financial and operational performance of the branch, and ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
The role involves coordinating with practice leaders across service lines, driving business development initiatives in the Nashik region, and mentoring team members to support their professional growth. The Branch Head will also contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and implementation of firm-wide policies and technology-enabled processes at the branch level.
Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant with strong experience in audit, assurance, tax, and advisory, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
Proven leadership skills in managing teams, delegating work, mentoring professionals, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work culture.
Demonstrated ability in client relationship management, stakeholder communication, and business development within corporate and/or private client segments.
Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards, corporate law, taxation, regulatory frameworks, and risk management practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex assignments and tight timelines.
Proficiency with digital tools and practice management systems; comfort with leveraging technology for workflows and reporting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; regional language proficiency for Nashik and surrounding markets is an advantage.
Prior experience in branch or practice management, including P&L oversight, budgeting, and performance tracking, will be highly beneficial.
