The opportunity
Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time Audit Clerk to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As an Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately tracking, reconciling, and reporting hotel and other operating-related revenue. The ideal candidate is fundamentally audit minded with meticulous attention to detail and a natural ability to identify, locate, communicate, and correct data discrepancies.
This position is part of the Finance Team and reports to the Accounting Manager.
$22.00 – $24.00 / hour

What will you do?- Reviews multiple daily reports to prepare the daily operating report.
- Submits hotel performance statistics in a timely and accurate manner.
- Adjusts and reconciles suppressed third-party taxes and maintains supporting tax reconciliation logs.
- Monitor recycler activity and record cash deposit overages and shortages.
- Uploads required reporting in a through relevant online portals.
- Research and resolve guest folio inquiries and discrepancies.
- Prepares and organizes cash deposits for bank submission.
- Conducts research and prepares journal entries and supporting documentation for entry to the General Ledger.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; six months to one year of previous experience preferred.
- General understanding of accounting preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.).
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive, strategic approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Excels both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
