JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis position is responsible for registering motor vehicles (city and state), issuing, auditing and controlling state decals and plates and, processing Parking Violations transactions. Other duties include auditing/balancing transactions and cash for city and state Motor Vehicle Registry and Parking Violations, preparing titles and necessary documents and providing efficient, courteous, and professional customer service. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be available to work extra hours if needed.
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, is part of the UAW Clerical/Technical Bargaining Unit and provides an excellent work life balance. The position is grade 7, wage dependent upon experience.
- Minimum of 6 months relevant work experience and high school diploma or certified equivalent is required. A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Must have good general office/clerical skills, including strong math and communication skills
- Must possess computer literacy to perform the requirements of this position and typing ability is a must
- Strong organizational and people skills are required
- Bi-lingual skills are a plus
