Best Ford is actively seeking a highly skilled Transmission Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience diagnosing and repairing automatic and manual transmissions across a variety of makes and models, with a focus on Ford vehicles. This role is vital in maintaining the high level of service our customers expect and trust.

• Diagnose transmission issues accurately using diagnostic tools and test drives
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, or replace defective transmission parts and systems
• Perform transmission services including fluid changes, flushes, filter replacements, and reseals
• Road test vehicles before and after repairs to ensure proper operation
• Communicate with service advisors and other technicians about recommended repairs
• Keep a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety procedures
• Stay current with Ford training programs and technical bulletins

• 2+ years of experience in transmission diagnostics and repair
• Ford certification or manufacturer‑specific training is preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic tools
• Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to high‑quality work
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screening
