The Sales Account Manager (Plastic Injection Molding) focuses on developing the relationships with new and existing customers while overseeing sales. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction is critical to this role.
Plastic injection molding experience is required.
- Strengthen and expand new and existing business relationships.
- Maintain customer contacts with the objective of developing long-term business relationships.
- As the primary customer contact, the SAM is responsible for conveying the customer’s information and actively participating in the development of quotations and program proposals.
- Meet with internal team members to develop Customer Proposal.
- Deliver proposal and gain customer commitment.
- Schedule and attend all meetings to ensure customer timeline is met.
- Resolve customer issues and identify product issues.
- Provide Sales reporting – including weekly, monthly, and annual projection reporting.
Education, Skills, Training and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Plastics and Engineering expertise with detailed knowledge of injection molding processes, tool building, and/or customers
- Minimum of four years job related experience
- Proven history of successful sales in Plastics Manufacturing or related field.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects including consistently meeting or exceeding established profitability, scheduling and quality targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
