The Sales Account Manager (Plastic Injection Molding) focuses on developing the relationships with new and existing customers while overseeing sales. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction is critical to this role.

Plastic injection molding experience is required.

  • Strengthen and expand new and existing business relationships.
  • Maintain customer contacts with the objective of developing long-term business relationships.
  • As the primary customer contact, the SAM is responsible for conveying the customer’s information and actively participating in the development of quotations and program proposals.
  • Meet with internal team members to develop Customer Proposal.
  • Deliver proposal and gain customer commitment.
  • Schedule and attend all meetings to ensure customer timeline is met.
  • Resolve customer issues and identify product issues.
  • Provide Sales reporting – including weekly, monthly, and annual projection reporting.

Education, Skills, Training and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Plastics and Engineering expertise with detailed knowledge of injection molding processes, tool building, and/or customers
  • Minimum of four years job related experience
  • Proven history of successful sales in Plastics Manufacturing or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects including consistently meeting or exceeding established profitability, scheduling and quality targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
