NCC Adjunct Faculty- Automotive Technology

Position: NCC Adjunct Faculty- Automotive Technology (Days- Spring 2026)
Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; a strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and require on campus instruction.

We anticipate a need for instructors in our Automotive Technology Program. The classes will be on weekdays. Applicants should have work experience in the following subjects:
Air Conditioning and Heating. Strong organizational and diagnostic skills are desired.

Minimum Qualifications:

* In addition to the minimum qualifications below, the preferred applicant will have ASE Master Certification A1-A8 or be able to obtain certification in areas teaching before classes begin.

Candidates should possess an Associate degree in Automotive Technology and have 5 years of experience as a technician. Should possess industry certifications such as Vehicle Manufacturer, ASE, and Aftermarket. Preference is given to those with higher education teaching experience, who have used a learning management system (such as Blackboard or Canvas), and who are engaged in community service.

The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
