Principal, Assistant Principal, and other staff members WORK YEAR: School Year (184 days) SALARY: $49,000 - $100,386 Per Year - Contractual Overall Responsibilities
The STEAM Teacher is responsible for designing and delivering engaging, inquiry-based instruction in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The role emphasizes hands‑on learning, problem‑solving, critical thinking, and real‑world applications to prepare students for future academic and career success in STEAM fields.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEAM field, or related field required.
- Valid New Hampshire Department of Education teaching certification required.
- Strong content knowledge in one or more STEAM subjects.
- Experience with hands‑on, inquiry‑based, or project‑based learning.
- Ability to effectively integrate technology into instruction.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Plan and deliver STEAM lessons aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through project-based and interdisciplinary instruction.
- Facilitate hands‑on experiments, engineering challenges, and design‑thinking activities.
- Incorporate technology tools such as coding platforms, robotics kits, simulations, and data‑analysis software.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations, projects, and presentations.
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking in the classroom.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align instruction and integrate STEAM across subject areas.
- Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school staff regarding progress and expectations.
- Participate in professional development and stay current with STEAM education trends.
