21st Century Program Academic Enrichment Teacher

Part-time 2025 - 2026 School Year

$35.00 per hour

Our program runs for 3 hours in the afternoon from Monday to Friday (approximately 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm).

Teacher certification in Elementary Education is required. Previous experience working with elementary‑aged school is preferred. Other qualities sought include excellent verbal and written communication skills, use of technology, a growth mindset, proactive problem solving, teamwork, innovative thinking, creativity, patience, and flexibility.

The 21st Century Extended Day Program mission is to nurture intellectual curiosity and reinforce self‑confidence in our students through goal‑oriented, project‑based learning that builds practical skills and develops character. The Academic Enrichment Teacher develops and teaches classes with a strong academic component that demonstrates a link to school‑day learning, using the Nashua School District Curriculum. The teacher provides students with support for their homework so students can meet their grade‑level expectations.

The teacher uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively and professionally, shows respect for students and parents, expects students to learn, and actively engages students in lessons planned around grade‑level expectations to enhance critical‑thinking skills.
