Adjunct Air Traffic Control Instructor
For Academic Year :
Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in adjunct teaching on a course-by-course basis; a strong academic background is required. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction.
We are in need of Air Traffic Control instructors to teach basic Air Traffic Control Classes.
Fall 2025: Tuesdays, 8am-12pm
Spring 2026: Tuesdays, 8am-12pm
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree from a regionally accredited college or technical school with major study aviation technology, education, business administration, engineering or related field.
- Experience: Six (6) years of teaching experience in the aviation technology field or six (6) years of military or FAA experience in Air Traffic Control.
- License/Certification: FAA or Military Air Traffic Control certification
Preferred Qualifications/Certifications: FAA instructor experience, Recent Air Traffic Control experience, Adjunct Teaching experience.
The salary range for this position is $825-$975 per contact hour. The rate will be determined by the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience.
