Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals for adjunct teaching on a course‑by‑course basis. Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period, and may require in‑classroom or online instruction as indicated.

Need for Instructors – Mechanical Engineering and Design Program (Spring 2026)

Semester dates:
January 20, 2026 – May 9, 2026.

  • CADN
    112N – CAD II
    – Advanced 3‑D solid modeling, GDT, manufacturing methods, spring and cam design. Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:00 pm – 9:20 pm.
  • CADN
    131 – Technical Drawing
    – Drafting fundamentals, blueprint reading, orthographic projection, dimensioning, tolerancing, threads, and fasteners. Meets Tuesdays 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
  • ELMT
    204N – Fluid Power Design
    – Dynamics of liquids and gases in manufacturing and automation. Meets Thursdays 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.
  • MDTN
    110N – Automation Programming
    – Programming robots and machinery, laboratory exercises complement classroom instruction. Meets Mondays 5:30 pm – 9:45 pm.
  • MDTN
    285N – Mechanical Engineering Capstone
    – Team design projects, prototype development, presentation to advisory board. Meets Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm.
  • MTTN
    201N – Lean and Green Manufacturing
    – Lean Six Sigma fundamentals, Toyota Way, ISO 14000, green manufacturing innovations, and case studies. Meets Mondays 6:00 pm – 8:50 pm.
Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or fifteen years’ experience in mechanical engineering/design. Salary range: $825–$975 per contact hour, based on rank.
