Engineering Manager, Process and Automation

Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead process engineering and automation initiatives that elevate production performance and quality in a fast‑paced injection molding environment. This is a strategic role where your expertise will shape workflows, implement advanced automation, and empower engineering teams to deliver measurable impact.

As Engineering Manager, you will:

• Lead the development, optimization, and implementation of plastic injection molding processes, secondary operations, and automation systems to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.
• Oversee process engineering, manufacturing engineering, and automation programs from concept through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and align with business goals.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce waste, lower costs, and enhance scalability.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and development for a team of engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams — including operations, quality, and supply chain — to seamlessly integrate automation and equipment into existing manufacturing workflows.
• Maintain robust documentation and reporting for processes, programs, and performance metrics to support operational transparency and decision‑making.

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Plastics, or related) or equivalent experience.
• You bring 7+ years of experience in plastics process engineering
  , including hands‑on knowledge of injection molding, tooling integration, and automation systems.
• You have 3+ years of leadership experience guiding technical teams and managing complex engineering projects.
• You’re skilled in project management tools (e.g., Solid Works, Jira, MS Project) and comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands‑on execution.
• You are a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
