Mechanical Technician Security Clearance

Position: Mechanical Technician 1 with Security Clearance
Job Description This entry level position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Also performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Fabricates and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies.

Assists with analyzing data and recommending modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications. Works from process sheets, diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools and jigs. This position is second shift on a 4/10 schedule (Monday-Thursday) Required Education, Experience, & Skills High School Diploma Must be able to lift 20-40lbs.

Experience with written and verbal communication skills.

Full-Time Salary Range: $40003 - $64006
