Manufacturing Industrial Engineer – Nashua, NH
Join Crane Currency as a Manufacturing Industrial Engineer and lead the charge in optimizing complex manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process performance and enable new product launches.
- Develop and implement process operational standards, including statistical process control opportunities.
- Improve product quality by reducing variability, minimizing downtime, and increasing yield and capacity.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
- Document improvement project scope, execution, and results to ensure knowledge sharing and sustainability.
- Create and maintain standardized work instructions to support consistent, high‑quality production.
- Reduce waste, improve equipment utilization, and optimize overall productivity and cost of quality.
- Work closely with operators and production teams to identify and resolve equipment and process challenges.
Required:
- BS in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of process engineering experience in manufacturing (printing, coating, web processing, or similar environments preferred).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis, statistics, and applied mathematics.
- Experience managing or contributing to critical, self‑directed projects with basic project management skills.
- Experience with process mapping, capability analysis, and statistical tools (e.g., Minitab).
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex processes to cross‑functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methodologies.
