RF Field Service Engineer (Test & Measurement)
Nashua, NH
$35.15 to $40.70 per hour

Premier electronic testing facility (Nashua, NH 3063 - Onsite) - Employment
Terms:
W2 status with access to Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, and PSL - Schedule:
Full-time 40 hours/week, 24-month contract (overtime availability required)
A prominent electronics testing organization is looking for a Field Service Engineer to conduct maintenance, calibration, and diagnostic tasks on measurement hardware. You will be responsible for maintaining high service standards and regulatory compliance while working at both client sites and internal facilities.
Core Duties- Execute manual and automated calibration, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on electronic measurement devices, including RF/Microwave gear reaching 50 GHz.
- Analyze equipment malfunctions to isolate hardware versus software errors, facilitating necessary repairs or realignments to ensure optimal system performance.
- Leverage automated calibration platforms and digital tools to maintain strict adherence to ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025 standards, helping the team uphold accreditation.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and internal staff by managing service goals and ensuring that technical delivery consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Drive operational efficiency by organizing project timelines, documenting service activities, and applying advanced technical problem-solving to improve overall equipment reliability.
- Proven background in calibrating test and measurement hardware, specifically RF/Microwave instruments up to 50 GHz.
- Academic credentials from a university, technical institute, or equivalent experience gained through Military PMEL/TMDE programs.
- Familiarity with industry-standard quality frameworks such as ISO 9001, ANSI/NCSL Z540-3, and ISO/IEC 17025.
- Practical expertise in both manual calibration techniques and automated software environments like STE or TME.
- Advanced diagnostic abilities to effectively distinguish between software-related glitches and physical hardware failures.
- Competency in standard computer software, including Microsoft Office and specialized calibration interfaces.
- Excellent communication capabilities to facilitate clear interactions with management, colleagues, and external clients.
- Capacity to manage tasks autonomously and shift focus as needed to hit key performance targets.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to guide client discussions and navigate intricate technical project hurdles.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to accommodate overtime requirements.
- 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
