- Lead NPI project management activities for new high‑speed I/O cable assembly from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
- Lead cross‑functional NPI teams (Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain) to drive milestones from concept through mass production, ensuring successful product deployment across global manufacturing sites.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, drive accountability across stakeholders, identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate status to leadership.
- Lead cross‑functional NPI teams (including Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain) to drive product deployment from initial concept through global transitions to new and existing manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate directly with global manufacturing sites to support production and process implementation.
- Manage internal and external suppliers for on‑time completion of actions.
- Facilitate the validation and smooth transition of new products across global manufacturing sites (USA, China, Mexico, Vietnam).
- Manage and coordinate engineering build events, facilitate technical reviews, and track critical program milestones.
- Oversee project risk management, including participating in DFMEA/PFMEA reviews, identifying potential project risks, and driving mitigation actions.
- Manage and reduce risks, including developing alternatives using risk‑reduction tools, to maintain project objectives and schedules.
- Travel domestically and internationally 10‑15%.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
- 2‑5 years of experience in an engineering or project‑management role in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of solid modeling tools (Creo, Solid Works, etc.) to effectively communicate with design teams.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Familiarity with project‑management methodologies, cross‑functional leadership, and root‑cause analysis.
- Experience with PCBA SMT and/or soldering preferred.
- Experience in the design and assembly of telecommunication cable assemblies preferred.
