Job Summary:
Provides C-17 flight operations experience in support of Jacobs projects and contracts. Applies a high level of aeronautical data experience to design, development, integration, and test of mission planning products; and to aeronautical data quality investigations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Work scope may include the following duties:
- Responsible for technical support to assigned Program/Project
- Interfaces with customer representatives at all levels to understand systems requirements
- Translates systems requirements to software developers and systems engineers
- Participates in evaluation and assessment of Mission Planning products
- Prepares and presents technical briefings to customer management and staff
- Investigate aeronautical data issues, analyze impacts, and develop solutions
- Plan and conduct aeronautical database load tests in lab environment and on-aircraft
- Assists in preparing proposals, project plans, quotations, white papers, and process improvements

Education Desired /
Required:
BS degree from an accredited school and eight (8) years of related experience, or a MS degree from an accredited school and at least six (6) years of related experience
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Experience with C-17 flight operations and mission planning
- Knowledge of C-17 flight management system
- Experience conducting airdrop operations (desired)
- Knowledge of air operations planning, including coalition operations
- Knowledge of DAFIF or similar aeronautical data specifications
Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
