BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Program Finance (Program Control) Analyst to join the Strategic Missiles product area under the Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) product line within the Precision Strike and Sensing Solutions (PS) business area of Electronic Systems sector.
In this role, the selected individual will support the Strategic Missiles Development Finance Manager in the execution of a growing portfolio of development programs anticipated to be valued at nearly $300 million. This position allows for the blend of challenging program work with direct, individualized mentorship and support, setting the stage for personal growth and professional success. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working on-site and remotely.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support program control activities for a rapidly growing portfolio of development programs with associated internal and external reporting requirements.
* Act as a full business partner to the Strategic Missiles development program teams
* Contribute to the establishment of accurate program financial forecasts, including the Operating Plan, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and the long-term Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
* Provide financial data and analysis enabling timely business decision-making
* Influence favorable program execution via robust baseline management, application of EVMS principles, developing realistic Estimate at Completions (EACs), and actively reporting risks and opportunities
* Ensure compliance to internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvement Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Bachelor's degree and 4 years of work experience or equivalent experience.
* Experience working with Program Management, Program Controls, Program Finance, and/or Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts and processes in a Government contracting environment
* Demonstrated ability to support program managers and their control account managers with the use and maintenance of program controls systems and metrics/reporting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools with particular efficiency using Microsoft Excel
* Experience managing, analyzing, and extracting insights from large datasets
* Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills
* Demonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner
* Strong interpersonal skills to interact cross functionally
* Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with company policies and procedures Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Cobra
* Experience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environment
* Understanding and knowledge of industry practices and standards as well as company policies Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723

This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
