To support the financial management and operations of the credit union through maintenance of account records and reports. Accurately and timely, performs relatively straight forward, routine tasks as directed within the Operations department.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Change of Member Data Review:
Review of changes made to members’ address and contact information completed by the front-line staff. Place necessary notes onto the core system, communicate errors to branch management and follow for resolution. Send a weekly report of outstanding forms with errors to each branch management & OPS management. - New Member and New Shares Account Review:
Review the required documents and date entry for all types of new Accounts and related new deposit Shares. Ensure that each new Account or new Share and required documents are in compliance with MIP (member identity program) and Credit Union policies and procedures. Send weekly reporting of all outstanding items to OPS Management. - Returned Mail:
Manage the receipt of undeliverable mail from the Post Office. Forward returned mail originated by other areas of the Credit Union. Enter information on the core system to alert front line staff that updated information is required as necessary. Update members accounts with correct warning codes within the core system when returned statements are received for tracking and assessing fees. - Debit Card and Forms Review:
Review newly issued cards and changes made to business cards. Review Consumer, Commercial, HSA and ATM, Temporary and Permanent, velocity forms for accuracy. Prepare weekly reports for management and front-line staff to advise of necessary forms not received in a timely manner. - Performs quality reviews in the following areas allocations, direct loan payment authorizations, HSA and IRA. Process Courtesy Pay charge off reporting. Review check stop payment forms and send weekly reporting of outstanding items to branch & OPS management.
- Returned Debit Cards:
Manage any debit or credit cards that are received as undeliverable from the Post Office. Enter the appropriate information on the core system to alert front line staff that updated information is required. Update the log of returned cards and hold for the required amount of time for members to make the necessary changes and request the card. If cards have not been requested, under dual control, ensure the card is closed and destroyed.
If the necessary changes have been made and the card is requested, update the log and forward the card to the appropriate branch. - Look for streamline of services and efficiencies. remain current with internal/external procedures and regulations. Maintain procedures for job function area that are primary and as back up.

- Experience:
One year to three years of similar or related experience. - Education:
A high school education or GED. - Interpersonal
Skills:
Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. - Other
Skills:
Must be able to operate 10 key calculator by touch. Should know how to use PC spreadsheet software. Specific software for core data.
Work Environment: office work and remote hybrid possible.
