Responsibilities- Acquire, review, and process Initial Clearances, 5‑year clearance reinvestigations, reinstatements, and clearance upgrades.
Process ES New Hire’s and Terminations – SIMS/DISS/NBIS. - Support and process PSQs, Foreign Travel, and reporting as per Special Program requirements.
- Maintain working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, eQIP/eAPP, and NISS.
- Manage and maintain ES SIMS, DISS, and NBIS.
- Maintain PERSEC Shared Area and PERSEC One Space.
- Develop security plans to comply with existing directives and future requirements.
- Provide and maintain monthly and quarterly metrics.
- Maintain continuity plans relative to the PERSEC Office.
- Exhibit professional demeanor, strong people skills, and effective communication; perform in a multi‑tasked environment.
- Manage time, make sound decisions, work independently, analyze problems, and provide focused solutions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related administrative and clerical experience.
- Receive Interim SECRET eligibility within 3 months of start date.
- Eligible for Top Secret Clearance.
- Experience with PC’s and office software; strong writing skills.
- Working knowledge of SIMS, DISS, NBIS, EQIP, and EAPP.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Decision‑making and reasoning skills.
- Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and related security manuals.
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Top Secret (TS) clearance.
