Summary
The Guest Service Associate is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The role includes parking and retrieving guest vehicles, assisting with luggage, and helping guests with directions and inquiries.
Compensation & BenefitsHourly base pay is $15 per hour plus tips. The work schedule is Monday‑Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm. Employees may enroll in accident, critical illness and hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefits, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility. Seasonal and temporary roles are not eligible for these benefits.
Responsibilities- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, co‑workers, and clients.
- Greet guests within five feet using a professional and friendly tone and proper salutation.
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously, and open vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with luggage, directions, taxis, reservations, and other inquiries.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures, issue and collect claim checks, and maintain accurate ticket information.
- Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license for the state in which you will work.
- Minimum one month of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
- Ability to read and write standard English, understand simple instructions, and write simple correspondence.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing with 10’s and 100’s, and performing operations with U.S. currency.
- Ability to read and understand 24‑hour and military time, rates, and payments.
- Manual transmission operation and parallel parking desirable.
The job requires regular talking or hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, running, handling objects, reaching, climbing stairs, and operating manual controls. Lifting up to 100pounds occasionally, 50pounds frequently, or 20pounds constantly may be required. The majority of work is performed outdoors for the duration of shifts, exposing employees to extreme heat and cold. Travel up to 5% of time may be required.
