IT & Security Business Systems Analyst

OverviewThe Business Area (BA) Business Systems Analyst will be a member of the IT & Security Business Partner team, supporting IT & Security plans, projects, and service delivery to achieve integrated business plans. The Analyst reports to the BA IT & Security Business Partner, a member of the BA leadership team.
Responsibilities- Provide support to IT & Security plans, projects, and service delivery to achieve integrated business plans.
- Engage business stakeholders to understand IT & Security requirements and priorities.
- Communicate business needs with appropriate IT solution centers and/or security representatives (internal/external) to gain alignment between business needs and outcomes.
- Assist with gathering detailed business requirements and define scope by conducting meetings/interviews and facilitating large group/cross‑functional sessions with partners.
- Help ensure accurate representation and integration of functional stakeholders in major IT & Security projects.
- Identify IT & Security functional challenges and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote cybersecurity compliance without significant impact to business operations.
- Assist with procurement of IT hardware/software within assigned area of responsibility.
- Support various administrative tasks in support of the BA IT & Security Business Partner team.
- Maintain up‑to‑date awareness of industry and technology trends, and recommend implementation of new/upgraded systems, technologies, or processes in IT and/or security domains to ensure compliant and modernized capabilities are deployed.
- Active Secret Clearance, minimum 4 years of relevant experience, and a high school diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Ability to work across multiple functions/organizations and build trusted working relationships.
- Business acumen and practical experience supporting business operations.
- Knowledge of IT industry standard service delivery, operations, processes, standards, tools, and capabilities with a focus on infrastructure and project management.
- Willingness to learn and acquire new skills and adapt seamlessly to an ever‑changing technology and security environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Self‑directed, proactive, detail oriented, and able to multi‑task.
- Ability to handle conflict and resolve difficult situations.
- Understanding of DoD Security (physical/cyber/industrial) principles and integration, both classified and unclassified.
- Bachelor's degree and a Top Secret Clearance.
- Demonstrated record of capturing and developing business requirements to support technical solution development.
- Experience interpreting and enforcing government and company security policies and providing direction and guidance to personnel.
- Background and knowledge of working in closed or classified environments.
- Program/Project Management and oversight experience.
- Ability to carry out data analytics to identify opportunities for efficiencies and innovation.
- Understanding of ICD 705, TEMPEST, and classified facility policy and procedure associated with NISPOM, SAP and SCI facilities.
- Industry‑specific standard certifications, e.g., Security, DoD Security certifications, and ITIL Foundations.
Full‑time salary range: $95,106 – $161,680.
Salary is based on market pay structures and may also consider business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
